Notes: EXODUS 20

⁸Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy. ⁹Six days you shall labour and do all your work, I hope, vs. putting it off until the last minute, ¹⁰but the seventh day is a Sabbath, so you’d better not do any work—not you, not your kids, not your hired peeps, not your aminals, not the guy hiding in the cupboard under the stairs. ¹¹For Creationists think that the universe was created in six days, which is why it’s so important to keep the Sabbath, because—damn—that takes a lot of work to do in six bloody days, so respect that and don’t work when I told you to rest already.

¹³Also, you shall not murder anyone, especially over a sketchy rule for the exclusive Leviticus club later in the book when you don’t even keep the Sabbath. I mean, this is one of the Big Ten, actually My own words here, but how many of you appreciate that? Do you even know what Aramaic is?
